2. Data we collect
2.1 Player users
- Name and email address (provided via Google Sign-In).
- Profile picture (provided by Google, optional).
- Match history: dates, courts, results, participating players.
- Padel contacts (players you have played with or invited).
- Skill level preferences.
2.2 Club users (administrators and receptionists)
- Name, email address, and contact phone number.
- Club information: name, address, number of courts, opening hours.
- Member data entered by the club (name, email, phone, booking history).
- Booking history and club billing data (no credit card data is stored).
2.3 Technical data (all users)
- IP address and browsing data collected by Firebase Analytics (only if you accept cookies).
- Device type and operating system.
- Technical error logs (PII scrubbed) via Sentry.
3. Purpose and legal basis for processing

4. Sub-processors
uPadelMatch uses the following providers as data processors under appropriate agreements:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud (EEA): authentication, Firestore database, storage, hosting, and analytics. Data is hosted in the European Union. Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Sentry (error tracking): logs are sent with PII removed (no name, email, or user identifiers). Sentry Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Ever.
5. International transfers
Firebase services run on Google Cloud infrastructure in the European Union
(europe-west region). In cases where Google may transfer data outside the EEA,
it does so under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission,
as per GDPR Art. 46.2.c.
6. Data retention
- Active account: data is retained for as long as the account remains active.
- After account deletion: data is retained for an additional 5 years to comply with Spanish tax and accounting obligations (General Tax Law, Commercial Code).
- Analytics data (Firebase Analytics): retained for 14 months per Firebase default settings.
- Error logs (Sentry): automatically deleted after 90 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), you can exercise the following rights by writing to support@upadelmatch.com:
- Access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and receive a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): delete your data when it is no longer needed for the original purpose (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV export available from the app).
- Restriction: request suspension of processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time, without retroactive effect.
We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.
8. Age restriction
The service is intended for users aged 16 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we discover a minor has created an account, we will delete it without delay.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), Firestore security rules, least-privilege access control, and multi-factor authentication for administrative accounts.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. We will notify you by email or via an in-app notice when material changes occur.
