Terms of Service

1. Service provider

This website and associated services are operated by uPadelMatch, a sole-proprietorship (autónomo) registered in Granada, Spain. Contact: contact@upadelmatch.com.

By using the platform you fully accept these Terms of Service without reservation. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. Description of services

uPadelMatch offers two distinct applications:

uPadelMatch for Clubs (clubmanager): Court management, booking, member, and invoicing software for padel clubs. Available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Paid service after the free trial period.
uPadelMatch for Players (usersmatch): Free app to organize matches, find players of equivalent skill level, and manage four-player groups. Available as a PWA. Permanently free for players.

3. Access and registration

Access to the applications requires authentication via Google account (Firebase Authentication). By registering, you declare you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may not register or use the service without verifiable consent from your legal guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities carried out through it.

4. Club-specific terms

4.1 Free trial period

Clubs receive a 3-month free trial with no payment details required. All features are fully available during the trial.

4.2 Subscription plans

After the trial period, continued use requires one of the following plans:

Monthly plan: €20 per court/month, cancel anytime.
Annual plan: €15 per court/month, paid upfront (12 months). 25% saving vs. the monthly plan.

Prices exclude VAT where applicable. uPadelMatch reserves the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will never affect already-paid periods.

4.3 Cancellation and refunds

The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time without penalty; service remains active until the end of the paid period. The annual plan is non-refundable on a pro-rata basis unless uPadelMatch discontinues the service. To cancel, email support@upadelmatch.com.

4.4 Club data and controller obligations

The club is responsible for the accuracy and legality of data entered into the platform (member data, bookings, invoicing). uPadelMatch acts as a data processor under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) Art. 28 and provides a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) upon request.

5. Player-specific terms

The player app is permanently free. There is no subscription, per-match fee, or advertising. uPadelMatch reserves the right to introduce optional premium features in the future without ever removing existing free functionality.

Users agree to use the app lawfully, respectfully, and without impersonating others.

6. Intellectual property

All website and application content (design, code, text, logos) is owned by uPadelMatch or used under license. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without explicit written authorization.

Data entered by users (matches, bookings, profiles) remains the property of the respective users. uPadelMatch makes no claim over it.

7. Service availability

uPadelMatch provides the service on an as-is basis and strives for maximum availability, but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure failures (Firebase / Google Cloud), or force majeure events.

uPadelMatch is not liable for business losses, lost profits, or indirect damages resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of liability

uPadelMatch's total liability to a subscribing club shall not exceed the amount paid during the preceding 3 months of service. uPadelMatch is not responsible for disputes between clubs and their members, or between players.

9. Modifications to these terms

uPadelMatch may update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated by email or via an in-app notice with a minimum of 15 days' advance notice. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Granada, Spain, unless applicable consumer law provides for a different mandatory venue.
